Congratulations

--------------YOU'VE REACHED THE END OF THE INTERNET!--------------

We at OMR defy the public to find a more bad-ass photo on the web. Who took this picture? We don't know. It appears to be a postcard of Los Angeles, perhaps by the same someone who brought us the shot we posted on Feb. 26.

G.C. Murphy

The G.C. Murphy building in downtown D.C. is currently featured over at ANS. We present another angle on this lost landmark, which was razed in the eighties.

Anniversary

One-hundred posts in one year. (The first month averaged more than one per day.) The Supreme Dictator of Ivanlandia is our tireless arbiter of tastes both good and bad, and those we never knew we had!
Mostly dishing out commentary on sub-genres of scratched-up film, but occasionally expounding on science, literature and cultural meltdown, this blog delivers... something... unsettling: an intimate peek into the mad mind of his Lordship.
To read an Ivanlandia review is to ride down the stream-of-consciousness of the writer, with ninety-degree digressions and visual asides peppered throughout. Free association at its best, but well-researched and always in the service of useful information.

But the hallmark of any self-respecting UPI post is the gratuitous fetish picture, appearing out of left field. Always lurking in the corner of the mad mind's eye is some oiled up robovixen ready to suffocate you with rubber-clad thighs, or something along those lines.

So let's STAYED TUNED and see what the next year brings.

Banzai Charge

Our final salvo in the cyber-gallery battle with ANS. To the victor shall go the spoils, whatever those might be. It's been a good fight and we may pitch battle again in the future. For our last desperate assault we throw a Tanguy back at the enemy. As well as a Morris Louis, a John Sloan, and a Wayne Thiebaud, whose landscapes seem tastier than his candies and cakes.

"BANZAAIIIIIIII!!!!!!!"
